With the news breaking that not all the players are accepting Brett Favre as the QB to lead the team. There is a faction(grouping of individuals, especially within an organization) that believe that Vikings would be better off with Tarvaris Jackson to be the starting QB than Favre. Some members of the T-Jack Society(TJS) have supposedly said that Favre's talents are inferior to Jackson. With the performance that Jackson made against the Chiefs sure add some wood to the fire.
There have been many players that are denying the fact that there may be a faction within the Vikings organization.
I for one am still wondering what they see in Jackson, he has yet played an entire season as a starting QB for the Vikes. He has either injured or replace due to ineffective leadership on the field. In his career, I have seen Jackson being prone to injury, indecisive at times, running with the ball first(very Vick like). Sure there are players that are jealous that Favre did not go through the training camp like everyone else did, but what else is new. Favre has not had to do a training camp since the late 90's. Why would that change now?
Come Monday Night, it will be the third preseason game, the game that the starters will be playing most of the half. If Fave performs with greatness, it might quick the TJS's a bit.
