Yesterday, it was announced that Percy Harvin would make it the 9th Viking "heading" to the Pro Bowl this season. It is the most by any team this season. He will be a return man for the NFC squad. Philadelphia's DeSean Jackson initially was chosen as the NFC's returner, but he also earned a spot as a wide receiver. Jackson will play that position in the game, which opened a spot for Harvin, who became the Vikings' ninth Pro Bowl representative.
Harvin has been a headache for any team that has tried to stop him all season whether it has been a returner-receiver-running back. He has been reeling in BIG plays for the Vikes all season long.He broke the team record for total yards in a season with 2,08l. Take a Bow Percy.

And There Was 8
The Pro Bowl rosters came out yesterday and there are some I expected and other happy to see make the team. The Vikes lead the NFL with 8 selections. On the offense side of the ball, the starter as expected is AD at running back. The Vikes left side of the line will be starting as well, Bryant McKinnie and Steve Huchinson. The backups on offense are QB Brett Favre and Sidney Rice.
I was kind of shocked to see that McKinnie was starting in the Pro Bowl, because of some of his performance in the last month of the season or so.I agree with ESPN, he made it on rep not overall performance. I was happy to see Sidney make the team with the type of breakout season that he is having.
On defense, the starters from the Vikes are DE Jared Allen and DT Kevin William. These are the only two from defense to make the squad. Both defenders are having a good well this season. Both led the NFC in sacks at their position. Allen and Williams are solid Pro Bowl starters.
The special teams player is Heath Farwell. He had led this group to a better year than last season.I think that Harvin would have been a better choice than Farwell.
If everything goes the Vikes way the NFL might have to find replacements due to the Pro Bowl. This season, the Pro Bowl is the week before the Super Bowl at the same location.

Vikes Help NFC in Pro Bowl
On Sunday, three members of the Minnesota Viking made key play at vital times in the game. The NFC was down 14-10 with less 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. The AFC was at the NFC 32, with a score could have potentially sealed the game for the AFC. It was not meant to be for the AFC. Kerry Collins looked and went deep to Brandon Marshall, but the pass was intercepted by Antonio Winfield and returned it to the NFC 30.
The NFC offense did not score points with the turnover, but did manage give the AFC the ball at their 20. The first play of the series was a pass, not making it better than the previous. Jared Allen, stripped the ball from behind on Collins, recovered his own fumble to the 10 yards line. The NFC had the ball for one play, the ball was handed off to Adrian Peterson for a 10 yard TD to give the NFC the lead 17-14.
This was a key score in the game to lead the NFC to a victory 31-21.The MVP of the game was Larry Fitzgerald, he had 5 catches for 81 yards and 2 TD's.
