With the Broncos trying to unload of disgruntled Pro Bowl QB Jay Cutler. Cutler and new head coach Josh McDaniels got off to a rocky start.
On the opening weekend to free agency, Cutlers' name was in mix of being traded to Miami in a three-team tradefor the Broncos to acquire Matt Cassell from the Pats, McDaniel's former team.
After that Culter want out of Denver.
Early in the week, Broncos owner wanted to unload of Cutler to the highest bidder.
Yesterday, Culter and fifth round pick were sent to da Bears for a 2009 and 2010 first round picks, a third round of 2009 and Kyle Orton, who are now the property of the Broncos.
Personally, I think the Broncos did get the better deal at the end.
With Culter going to the Bears, now there is a problem their is not a legit receiver in the whole bunch for him to pass to. I just do not think he is going to be their Savior.
It will be interesting to see how this year plays out with Culter and all the pressure that he will have to live up to, being the first solid QB since the 1985 Bears.
Now Orton does have the weapons in Denver and it will be fun to see how he will lead him new team if he wins the QB job.
