My Viking Mock

With the draft approaching quickly at the end of the month. Then thr NFL will get back into the swing of things.Below is the round by round players that the Vikes should be looking at.

Round1: Andre Smith,OT, Alabama
or

Percy Harvin,WR, Florida

Round 2: D.J. Moore, CB, Vanderbilt

Round 3: Antoine Caldwell, C, Alabama

Round 4:Traded to Houston for Sage Rosenfels

Round 5: Jerraud Powers, CB, Auburn

Round 6: Trade to the Eagles

Round 7: Derek Walker, DE, Illinois

Bear Pascoe, TE, Fresno St.

With this draft the Vikes address all the major need positions for the team this season.The QB position was not addressed due to the fact, I just do not see them seeking rookie QB this season.
In the first round, if OT Andre Smith is still available the Vikes should take a serious look at him. He has proven a durable linemen not missing a game is 3 season at the Crimson Tide. He is a quick and explosive, something that the Vikes needs as a running team.
If Smith is gone at 22, Percy Harvin WR from Florida has been a fan favorite. He is more just a BIG play type of a guy. He has good field vision and c make defenders miss in tight quarters. Good vision when running in space. Sets up his blocks well and can cut back against the grain.In the first round, if the Vikes can get either one of these players they would be a great asset and contribute immediately for the team.
