There were teams at the combine that even asked him if 'he felt entitled. What does that mean? Teams were wondering if Toby felt entitled to be a white running back. This is because many people know that the NFL is dominated by black running backs in for most of its history.
I think with these questions could give Gerhart so extra motivation as a running back. He will be able to show the league that he is more than just a running back, but a back to keep an eye on.
The reason that this was not in the headline was the Dez Bryant question about his mother possibility being a prostitute made it ahead of the Gerhart issue. So I now ask my readers to respond if you would like to an interesting question:
What would your response be if you were asked about if you felt entitled to do a certain job due to the color of your skin?
With the news of finding this out I hope that Toby runs through every team(as I would anyway) of thinking that he could not be a legit TAILBACK in the NFL.
