A Minnesota Judge sided with the NFL, they do have the right to suspend the Williams Wall 4 games each. This case will never end it seems like, everyone knows that the Wall will be appealing this decision. As it would stand right now the players would miss the 1st 4 games of the season: New Orleans, Miami, Detroit, and the NY Jets. If the Williams do miss these games, it is probable the Vikes would start the season 2-2 or even 1-3. It may be a bad start, but I am sure the Vikes could bounce back from this, the Wall would take the ruling. I do not see this happening.
Over at the Viking Ship, Jazz brought up an interesting point about the Suspensions. If Pat and Kevin Williams would have served it last season the Vikes still more than likely started 4-0 anyways with the lax teams that they faced in the beginning of the season.
I am with so many fans out there way keep fighting something is going to happen anyways. If this keeps up maybe the Wall will be suspended that the Vikes need them more during the grind or the season where the defense needs them the most. Just take the suspensions serve for game and come back and stop the opponents running game.

I'm sure Minnesota's finest lawyers along with Vikes staff are weighing up their chances if they appeal. Maybe it makes sense for Pat to appeal because if he can get it put off another season then he'll probably retire and never serve it, but it is a risk. I guess it's better to lose them for the start of the season and then gain some momentum once they're back, rather than lost them later and risk running out of steam when it really matters.
