With the Hall of Fame class of 2009 coming out yesterday. Randall McDaniel was among this class. He was one the best Offensive Linemen to play for the Beloved Purple. He is widely recognized as one the of the greatest and most versatile offensive lineman set NFL record by starting in 12 consecutive Pro Bowls (1989-2000). Started 202 consecutive games in his career. It was quite interest to see that he was the only Viking to make into Canton and not Cris Carter nor John Randall. McDaniel was also a Fridge back(a Lineman used as a full back in the red zone). Here are some of his other achievements:
- 9x First-team All-Pro selection (1990-1998)
- 10x First-team All-NFC (1989-1998)
- 1x Second-team All-NFC (1988)
