With the Vikes in desperate need of a QB and the Falcons wanting to trade away the contract rights of Micheal Vick to a different team(so they do not have to put with the headache anymore). This also depends if Roger the Hammer Goodell will reinstate Vick or not. This is a big question mark considering the illegal gambling and animal cruelty. Here what Childress said:
Minnesota coach Brad Childress said the Vikings are looking for someone to challenge Tarvaris Jackson, and are willing to make moves to ensure that it happens.
"We need to put somebody in place that will push him and compete with him," Childress said. "I think competition is the nature of the game."
Childress wouldn't confirm or deny interest in Vick.
The Vikes are in need of a real QB the compete with T-Jack. It is sickening seeing the QB situation in Minnesota with the team that they have. The Vikes ave a top 10 defense and the best running back in the NFL. The main void remains to be at the signal caller. It would interesting to see if the Vikes do sign a ex con and all. What if....
