To is correct it sounds like that Troy Williamson is going to be a Jaguar this coming season. The Vikes are in the final stages in sending Williamson to Jacksonville in exchange for a sixth round pick in the 2008 draft. He was part of the Randy Moss trade it is now official that the Moss trade was a bust. Williamson has hamstringed the Vikes with is inability to catch the ball especially when he is wide open.He made many Viking fans pull out their with his frequent drops. Now the Jag fans can have him and suffer with his play. Even after he saw an eye specialist and that was no help whatsoever. But nothing is official until Thursday at 11p.m. that is the start of the free agency period. The Vikings are expected to make the receiver position one of their primary targets in the free-agent period. Chicago's Bernard Berrian could be their top choice.

McKinnie arrested after fight
Another Viking has trouble with the law again. What the hell are we truning into the Dallas Cowboys of the 1990s. It seems like there is always a Viking as of late in the news and not in a good way. McKinnie was involed in a brawl in Miami. He was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence.
McKinnie spit on the face of a bouncer, 32-year-old Eric Otero, shoved a camera phone into his face and then picked up a heavy pole and slammed it over Otero's head. This occurred in front of a large crowd.
The trouble had started when Otero attempted to eject the 6-8, 335-pound McKinnie from the club. As he was being taken out of the establishment, McKinnie yelled obscenities and spit in Otero's face according to police. Otero said if McKinnie left, he would not press charges.
Damn kids!! We shall see what kind of punishment that Chilly comes uop with this incident.

Safety Smith is gone for the Purple
On Wednesday, the Vikes sent Dwight Smith packing and looking for a new home. Brad Childress finally had enough of Smith and his antics. He is a decent player on the field, but off the field that is a totally different story. Here are some of his incidentences while he was will the Purple:
He was charged with indecent conduct on Aug. 26, 2006, after police found him in a Block E stairwell engaged in sex with a woman. He was benched for the 2006 season opener at Washington, and later pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor.
Last month, Smith pleaded guilty to obstructing traffic, a petty misdemeanor, and had charges of marijuana possession against him dismissed last month stemming from an incident on Dec. 13.
On the cutting of Smith--Coach Brad Childress wouldn't get into specifics, merely saying it was the right time for the team to move in a different direction.I hope that we can find a good replacement for him in Free Agency considering that we have a lackluster group in the seconday except Darren Sharper of course.18 February 2008
Free Agency Coming Up
Will the Vikes do anything this year during the FA period in which is approaching up quickly. Over the past year, the Vikes have failed to sign some key players. Sure they have had their chance but lost out most of the time. Childress said in the postseason the Zigi Wilf will back him on his FA decisions this offseason. I guess that Vikes fan will see if he actually goes after PROVEN quality players this season. There is plenty of good players that are going to be out their in the market this season. It will be interesting where these players will end up.

Kenechi Udeze has leukemia
Minnesota Vikings Densive End Kenechi Udeze(KU) has been diagnosed with leukemia. The exact diagnosis and how far the leukemia is along is unknown to the public at least. This is something is much more than just football--it is a about a life.Sources said Udeze was at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester early last week and is now at a Twin Cities hospital receiving treatment.
What is leukemia anyways??
It is a cancer of the blood or bone marrow and is characterized by an abnormal proliferation (production by multiplication) of blood cells, usually white blood cells (leukocytes). It is part of the broad group of diseases called hematological neoplasms.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leukemia)
My thoughts and prayers go out to KU and his family as well as any person that has a loved that suffers from this condition.

AD does it again
In the Pro Bowl AD showed why he has been considered one of the best running backs in the NFL. He had most of the playing time over Brain Westbrook of the Eagles. Peterson, the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year, ran for 129 yards and two touchdowns, and Terrell Owens made up for early sloppiness with two TD receptions in the NFC’s 42-30 comeback victory over the AFC on Sunday. With the performance AD recieved the MVP of the Pro Bowl. He is the 1st rookie since Marshall Faulk to do so.We Viking fans liked the looks of this performance. It looks like the AD pre-knee injury. He showed the league that he is not just a half a season wonder.

Packers starting QB
Here is the starting QBf or the Packers tada:
Brett Favre
The ageless wonder will not quit EVER. Even after 10 consecutive losing seasons as the stating QB for the Packers. Now he cannot throw a 5 yard pass. But the Packers do not know what to do. Because they cannot cut or trade him. The fans would go mad and riot the town because of this. The front office thought he would retire YEARS ago. So they are pray for a life ending injury because remember he still loves the game.

Giants 17 Patriots 14
After all the records that the Pats set this year it was all for nothing with the loss in the Super Bowl. The pats were trying to become the 1st team to go undefeated in the 16 game schedule. It was not meant to be. Everyone could tell that this game was not going to be the usual Patriots game that it was much of the season. The Giant defense was the difference making in the game. Stop the team that scored more 30 points per game. Not on this day, the defense allowed 14 points. It is a good ol fashion smash mouth football game. The focal point was the team that played better defense at the end of the game.
Eli's Time
Eli Manning has now become an elite QB after leading his team to victory. With over 2 minutes left in the game and the Giants are down by 4 points. The ball was in hands and he drove down the field with some good catches by his receivers. I think that everyone will remember the David Tyree over the head catch for 38 yards. After that the drive continued until Manning hit Burress for a TD pass his second pass for a TD in the 4th quarter. That gave him MVP honors 2nd Manning in two years to do so.
That is the season now let the offseason begin.
