Congrats to the Saints and all thier fans on being Super Bowl 44 Champs. Now the Vikes have lost once again to the eventual Champions(12 times). The Saints also have shown that ball control and gambling on plays(onside kick to start 3rd quarter, so do not play the game to safe as the Colts did in this contest.
If you are curious here is the list of teams that have never been to the Big Dance:
Detroit Lions
Cleveland Browns
Jacksonville Jaguars
Houston Texans
The following teams have been to a Super Bowl but never won:
Arizona Cardinals
Philadelphia Eagles
Tennessee Titans
San Diego Chargers
Buffalo Bills
Minnesota Vikings
Atlanta Falcons
Cincinnati Bengals
Seattle Seahawks
Carolina Panthers
I just hope that 2010 is now the Vikes year to win the Big One.
SKOL VIKINGS!!

Steelers Win in Final Minute
On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers became the only franchise with 6 Super Bowl wins. The game was dominated by Pittsburgh most of the game. The Cards were down 10-7 and at the Steeler 2 yard line with 18 seconds left in the half. The Cards were going to come out of the half right? Nope not quite. Instead, Kurt Warner threw a slant pass to Boldin and Defensive Player of the Year James Harrison intercepted the pass and went the distance for 100 yards. This took the Steelers in to halftime with a 17-7 lead.
The game came alive in the fourth quarter with the Cards down 20-7. It was then the Cardinal passing attack came to life.Fitzgerald made six of his seven catches for 115 of his 127 yards and both touchdowns in the final 5 1/2 minute. The last touchdown put the Cards up for a while, but Arizona scored too fast give Big Ben and Company with enough time for a great drive.Big Ben lead the Steeler to a 78 yard march down the field for a Santonio Holmes TD grab with 35 seconds left in the game.It sealed the deal with Cardinal miracle march in the playoffs was over.

Super Bowl Prep
With the Super Bowl coming up in a little over a week, there is much debate over the Cards and the Steelers. It is the most unlikely match-up to happen for this years' Super Bowl. In the beginning of the season the Cards had a 50-1 in making it to Tampa Bay and compare that to the Steelers 15-1.
This year it looks like the underdog story will be beat to death. The Cards never been to the big game and new experience for all their fans. The Steelers are use to the winning tradition over the years' they are one of the most storied organization in NFL history. Many of them know what do and say during Super Bowl week.
In the game, it will be will the Pittsburgh smash mouth league leading defense against the Arizona high flying passing attack of the Kurt Warner. I think this will be the difference in the game. All the nation will see who can stick to the game plan during the game.

Off to Glendale
The AFC game went as expected with the Patriots dominating a banged up Chargers squad much of the game. Sure, Brady had a so so game. But their running game showed up again with Lawerence Malrony running for over 100 yards in the second half so that kept the Charger defense honest much of the second half. The Chargers were without LT since the 1st quarter so he was not a factor in the loss 21-12. So the Pats path to perfection continues on and all roads lead to Glendale, Arizona.
The NFC was a totaly different story. Now this was an exciing game. With fans from each side frozen to the gills and on the edge of thier seats waiting for who was going to make the next play. The NY Giants have been a team that has been counted out all seaon and nobody gave a shot to win a playoff game let alone make it to the the NFC Championship game after knocking off the #1 seed Dallas Cowboys. With all the fans wanted to see the Brady vs. Favre showdown. It did not happen. The defense did a very good job shuting down the GB running game. SO then the Pack was nothing but a one dimensional offense. I was so happy to see the Pack going down at ALL MIGHTY GREEN BAY.In OT after the Giants failed to make two field goals within regulation. After another Favre interception, he set Giants up with decent field position. Lawerence Tynes nailed a 47 yard game winning field goal to sent the Giants to the Super Bowl. The 1st time since 2000.
